Bengaluru: The Bengaluru City Police (BCP) initiated an online campaign titled ‘Cyber Tip A Day’ to keep the fraudsters away with the aim of addressing the escalating issue of cybercrime and fostering public awareness.
The campaign was inaugurated on September 12 by B. Dayananda, the Police Commissioner of Bengaluru.
The individual in question will disseminate a daily informative suggestion via the social media platform utilized by the law enforcement agency, with the aim of fostering public consciousness and combatting criminal activities.
Based on available data, it is evident that a significant proportion of individuals in India, namely one out of every three, have become victims of cybercrime occurrences, resulting in the loss of their financial resources and precious possessions.
The adoption of cyber awareness, cyber clarity, and common sense is necessary in order to mitigate the risks associated with cyber fraud.
