TCS Partners with The Walton Centre, Liverpool has formed due to AI ChatBots
“AI is going to make a debut in the medical field of Indian history”.
We all know that the medical field has made great development in the world of Health and Technology. So, we’re pleased to tell you that AI has entered the industry of Health and Care for more improvement in providing medical help to the patients awaiting a tech as such.
But now the question is, exactly what kind of achievements will be conquered with such tech, instantly? Is it that beneficial which could unlock the path of more comfort to the prescription’s specialist/ patients? Let’s see what it is and how it’s going to work for the health & care industry.
Tata Consultancy Services | The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust
To enhance the productivity of doctors and to reduce waiting time for patients, AI entered the industry to provide faster communications between doctors and their patients. Both Companies joined hands after thinking a lot about this project for too long.
They decided to develop an AI-based ChatBot. This ChatBot will help in asking questions from the patients to reduce the pain of suffering patients that wait for treatment for too long. In the lack of urgent treatment/ prescription, they die without any proper help.
These Bots will help out the doctors know the current conditions of the patient that hasn’t made any live appointment with the doctor because of some serious cause. The patients will be able to receive diagnosis while sitting or bedridden at their home due to online support.
Meanwhile, this tech will help put the patient in a critical position to be stable until the proper arrangements are made for the patient. This will reduce the cases of relatively having crises and will get justice in time.
You should listen to some of the expertise in this case!

Patients wait for an average of 3 months to see a consultant for a mere headache case. This has been the case for many medical officials. Considering the severity of the cases, TCS is on the project of developing an AI-based Chatbot.
This tech will bring big enforcement for patients diagnosed with headaches. Most of the patients will get their treatments online most importantly at the place where the cases are much higher than others and that is Liverpool, UK.
Features of Chatbots
These bots will get into a conversation with Online Patients that might be in need of neurology or headache specialists. In this conversation, some questions will be asked the patients. Questions would be related to the patient’s condition and the symptoms he/ she must be having at the relevant moment.
These questions would come in use to get full disclosure of the patient’s medical history. That will be examined by the experts before the appointment date. After that, patients will be explained for further actions.
This will help the doctors and patients with things as follows:
- Patients will be put on a fast track for the examination/ health check-up
- Will be guided with precautions to hinder the symptoms
That will help doctors to put the patient’s health on a regular stable check. Due to that, the chances of high-severe crises will reduce and more patients won’t lose their lives. Specialist consultants remain busy off the time due to a long line of patients waiting for the check-up and prescriptions.
This facility will give a hand to the medical staff in co-operating with the patients who come for appointments. Eventually, this will elevate the productivity for better hospitality of patients. These Chatbots will also provide relatively important information to the patients.
This tech will be based on cloud-native, will be serverless, AI handled, and is a prototype for now. That is only to ensure the safety of clinical purposes.
Dr Anita Krishnan (Divisional Clinical Director) Neurologist, The Walton Centre
