Deepfake Video Viral Involving CM Yogi Adityanath, STF Arrested the Accused

A Deepfake Video of UP’s CM Yogi Adityanath has been uploaded on Social Networking Site “X.” In this case, Noida STF has registered a case at the Cyber Crime Police Station and arrested the accused Shyam Kishore Gupta who has tweeted it.

On 1 May, Noida, Barola Resident, Shyam Kishore Gupta posted the Deepfake Video of CM Yogi Adityanath on “X.” In this video, there was a talk about the mangalsutra of the Wives of Soldiers of Pulwama and so on. Don’t need Bhajpa.

Things are being said like removing BJP, saving the country, etc. The accused asked if the content & context of the video clip is correct to the point or not. The video has been tagged UP BJP, PMO, CM UP etc.

A case has been registered in the cyber crime police station and Shyam Gupta, a resident of Barola Noida, has been arrested in this case. Preliminary investigation has revealed that this is a deep fake video and is AI-generated.
