Ministry of Home affairs said that in its official statement "Ministry of electronics and information technology has issued the order for blocking the access of these apps by users in India based on comprehensive reports received from 'INDIAN CYBER CRIME COORDINATION CENTER'. Conquista Online II Earlier on June 29, the government had blocked access to 59 mobile apps and on September 2, 2020, Indian Government also banned another 118 apps under section 69A of the Information Technology Act. It is to be noted that India banned 47 Chinese apps which were clones of 59 Chinese apps banned in June.

Indian Government bans 43 more mobile apps Under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act. The action is taken based on inputs regarding these apps for engaging in activities prejudicial to India’s sovereignty, integrity, defence, security and public order.
