SigintOS™ as the name suggests, SIGINT is an improved Linux distribution for Signal Intelligence. This distribution is based on Ubuntu Linux. It has its own software called SigintOS™. With this software, many SIGINT operations can be performed via a single graphical interface.

For Live Boot or Without Instllation

Step – 1

First of all, Download VMware or virtual Box 

I am installing VMware , you also install Virtual Box installation process will be same don’t worry

Open VMware and Click  ‘Create a New Virtual Machine’.

Download VMware :

Download Virtual Box :

SigintOS File Download : 

Step – 2

Open VMware and Click ‘Create a New virtual Machine’

 Click ‘i will install the operating system later’

Select Linux and version Is Ubuntu. Because, this distribution is based on Ubuntu Linux.

Give any name of your machine in my case I will give ‘SigintOS_Signals Intelligence Operating System’

Give Size , recommended 20gb minimum,

Click ‘Next’

Step – 3

Click on Customize Hardware, Give RAM according to you recommended 2gb minimum

Select CD/DVD and select where Is your SigintOS downloaded file.

Ater Click ok and Finish.

Step – 4

Select in your machine name in my case my machine name is ‘SigintOS_Signals Intelligence Operating System’ and click on ‘Play Virtual Machine’

Step – 5

It will show this type of screen, you enter or it will automatically boot itself after 6-7 second

It is on processing,


You successfully installed SigintOS or Signals Intelligence Operating System.

Let’s check the OS is properly working or not by the help of open terminal and executing any command,

Command – ‘hostnamectl’


Everything is fine.


Installation of SigintOS Operating System

Note -> Step 1, Step 2, Step 3 and Step 4 are the same….

Step – 5

You will see this type of screen, click on install (option 3)

It will be loading, like this

Step – 6

Select language according to you

Tick the options,

Select installation type according to you

Step – 7 

Choose a security key

Step – 8

Select your country,

Step – 9

Select keyboard layout,

It will copying the files,

It will install the files as a SuperUser


You successfully installed the SigintOS in your virtual machine

Step – 10

Let’s check the OS is properly working or not by the help of open terminal and executing any command,

Command – ‘hostnamectl’


Everything is fine.
